While Aja was very nice and accommodating in regards to flexibilty in meet ups and drop offs as well as sending photos upon request, our dog Buster was in poor condition when we picked him up after a week in Aja's care. He had a large, seeping wound in his right armpit (it looked like an untreated friction burn) for which Aja had no explanation and was not even aware of until we brought it to her attention. He also had several small, bleeding scabs in his left ear, an infected toe, and an abrasion on his left lower jaw, and I picked 7 sticker burs from his fur (1 on the fur beneath his tail, 1 on his genitals, 1 on his paw, 1 on his jaw, and 3 on his torso). We understand that dogs, especially ones who love to roughhouse, will receive minor injuries, but the fact that Aja did not notice or, worse, noticed and hoped that we wouldn't is troublesome. It was dark when we picked up Buster and I felt the seepage from his arm wound the moment I picked him up. A quick glance or touch from her would have instantly revealed the wound which indicated an unacceptable level of neglect or dishonesty. Though she apologized when we showed her the wound, the damage was already done. We were greatly disappointed with our first Rover experience and will certainly never use Aja again.

Aja took great care of Spencer! She was also very flexible with a last-minute booking. We will use her again!
