Pet care experience
I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember, but for the past 5 years I have been professionally working for a friend who owns a local RVA pet care business! I cannot wait to meet new clients and new furry faces! I also have experience with giving medication to both dogs and cats, as well as working with special needs/disabled animals.

AJ is a good friend of me and my boyfriend, and we have enlisted them as our pet-sitter several times when we've gone out of town and needed someone to care for the pets. They're reliable and the pets love them - we've gotten very cute selfies and videos of AJ with our happy cats while we were away and it meant so much to us. :) Can't recommend them enough!!
AJ provided excellent service when caring for my cats! She sent me texts updating me on how they were doing and included lots of great photos, made sure I knew when she had arrived/left my apartment, and she had no trouble following my cats medication routine. Thanks AJ!

I believe that taking care of pets in their own home makes a difference. In my experience, your pet will be much more relaxed in your house than mine, and it's already tough enough for some pets to meet new people! When staying at clients' homes, I will absolutely be cleaning up after myself and your pet and taking extra care to make sure that your pet stays comfortable, warm, and taken care of. I was taught to leave a place better than I found it, so you know I will ALWAYS make sure to respect your space!

A typical day
I really enjoy taking the time to do whatever your pet enjoys best! I’ve had high-energy dogs and tired seniors, as well as snoozy and hyper kitties. I love a good long walk with my pups to get their wiggles out and to stimulate them with all the smells and sights around town.

I work full-time in a fully remote job, but I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to hop around as needed! This gives me plenty of time to be with your pets, as well as comfortably work from your home.
