Hi, I'm A.J., a teaching artist and pet lover! The lovely cat in my photo is my fur-baby, Jazper. I have lots of experience with small pups (my childhood dog was a dachshund- Chihuahua mix), have spent ample time with Corgis and Jack Russels, but I also love medium and large breeds as well. I love to be active and explore new neighborhoods, and walking dogs/pet sitting gives me the best of both worlds. For me, communication is key! I'm CPS approved, and just like my students, I will always be patient, and keep you up to date on your pets activities and behaviors.

I was over joyed with my experience having A.J. House sit for me. I knew my beagle pup Boris was always well taken care of. A.J. Kept a good communication and was understanding of my needs even with five hour time difference. Came back to a happy pup and a well maintained home!

I have a fenced in yard in Downtown/OTR area, perfect for working folks in the city that would like to keep their pets close to home. Ziegler and Washington Park are favorites of mine, and I can take the pup to dog park for hours of play. In your home, I will follow a strict feeding and outside schedule that your pup expects as if they were receiving care from you. I clean all indoor accidents that may happen, and can easily crate train if that is your preference.

A typical day
If in the city, there are dog parks that your dog and I can adventure together. For cats, I have toys I can bring for indoor play, and I'm all about good cuddles indoors.

Availability
I'm primarily a gig worker, so my schedule depends on the work that I receive, with lots of afternoon and evening availability. I will always update my weekly availability within the app at the top of each week.
