SERVICES AVAILABLE: Subject to Change + Dog Walking: 30 or 60 minutes + Drop In Visits: 30 or 60 minutes (Typically booked for 1-2 visits daily) + House Sitting: I spend most of the day with your pet. I may leave for aproximately 2-4 hours at a time (1-3x per day). IMPORTANT: All pets MUST be up to date on their Rabies Vaccination. After spending many years learning from and working under several other trainers, I am now the proud owner of Mindful Mutts Dog Training. Previously, I also worked at a veterinary clinic gaining experiences in the veterinary field. In addition to dog training, I am working hard to complete my degrees in Animal Science with Minors in Avian Biology and Dairy Science at the University of Georgia. After which, my intention is to pursue a career in research for the advancement of veterinary technology and treatments. At the same time I'll be working to further the development of Mindfull Mutts. As for your pets, I have experience housing and caring for all sorts of fuzzy and nonfuzzy friends. I currently cohabitate with my own 2 canines 🐕, feline 🐈, fish 🐠, and pet rats 🐀. That being said, while this IS a dog oriented service app, I do welcome the needs of other animals as well. This includes, but is not limited to Cats, Birds, Rodents, Fish, Reptiles, Amphibians, etc.. My experiences include volunteering for several years at my hometown pet store, the local animal shelters, a laboratory at the UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital, and a Clydesdale breeding farm. After years of working with and caring for a wide variety of animals I have proficient knowledge of pet care and behavior. Should you decide to place your pet in my care, I can assure you that he or she will be provided with the best possible treatment until their time comes to be reunited with you. 🐾 ABOUT MY SERVICES + Dog Walking: 30 or 60 minutes -> Includes either a long 60 minute walk or a short 30 minute walk. + Drop In Visits: 30 or 60 minutes -> Also includes a long and short walk, as well as any intermediate care. *Intermediate care entails feeding, watering, cleaning indor messes (poop/pee/vomit/litterbox), brushing, medicine application, among any other needs that may be specific to you and your pet(s). + House Sitting (Ask about Overnight Services) Being as you may be welcoming me into your home I am extremely flexible with any precautions or safety measures you wish for me to take before caring your pet(s). I strongly recommend meeting with me beforehand (at a minimum of once) so that I may meet both you and your pet(s). This helps to make sure that you feel comfortable with me as a sitter and allows me to better understand and match your pet's day to day life. If you decide my services are right for you following this inital consultation, we can absolutely move forward with our booking. I completely support security cameras/pet cameras or other security measures as I understand the need for safety and desire to see and keep up with your pet(s) while away. I usually care for your pet(s) during the day (6:00AM-9:00PM) and return the next (see my general schedule below). However, if your pet needs someone there overnight I am typically able to accommodate this. Please inform me of any general household tasks such as collecting mail, trash removal, watering plants, etc. that you would like done while you are away. Once again, I am flexible to most situations. Please consider this a basic guideline. BENEFITS OF DOG WALKING AND DROP IN VISITS: As humans, we are naturally busy, and sometimes our pets get put on the back burner of all of our other responsibilities. That daily walk we said we'd stick too? Sometimes we fall short. And that's okay! Because that's where I come in. Physical and Mental stimulation are essential for a happy healthy pet. If your pet is cooped up in the house all day having someone come over while you're at work just to walk or play some mental games with them helps in several ways! 💪 Mental Stimulation: • Puppy Playdates (With my personally trained dog(s) after proper behavioral assesment and introductions) • Puzzle Games! • Pre-Approved Training Exercises & Games! • Playtime w/ cat toys for my feline friends! And many more! Physical Stimulation: • Going for a Run! (I'm all for running with the pups!) • Biking!
