Aisha was a perfect house sitter and surrogate dog mom to our 4yr old Norwegian Elkhound, Niva 🐺 We were down South for an entire week and Aisha took Niva for 3 walks a day and played with her in the backyard. She kept us up to date daily by sending lots of videos and photos. Before we left, we were not sure how Niva was going to handle being in someone else's care. Aisha put us at ease by pro-actively reaching out to arrange a meet and greet before our trip. Within minutes of meeting Aisha, Niva rolled onto her back and was getting belly rubs from her. This gave us so much confidence because Niva usually does not like strangers. When we got home late due to a delayed flight, Aisha had taken care of a few chores so we didn't need to worry about them. And the house was in better shape than we left it. The biggest surprise was that Niva missed Aisha when she was gone. Being back to our normal routine was not as fun or stimulating for Niva as being taken care of by Aisha.
