She was almost an hour late to our meet and greet, and I should have cancelled then and there. But I dropped off my dog the next day before work, then was supposed to leave straight to the airport. She didn't want her doorman to see me with my dog waiting for her, which also caused me a bit of stress. I was called around lunch time and told that my dog had an accident (What dog sitter is not prepared for this??) and was asked to send money for a crate or pads because there were airbnb guests in the apartment. Instead I left work and went to drop off a crate and pads and my dog looked anxious and upset. The sitter kept apologizing and hinting that it would be better to relocate my dog, which I did. I did not sign up for strangers around my dog anyway. It was a terrible inconvenience and what would have happened if I had left straight to the airport? I had to take time off work to fix the situation. She did offer to find new boarding for my dog, as did Rover, and she is a nice person, but overall I would not recommend her to look after my dog based on this experience.

Aireana was a wonderful dog sitter. From setting up a meet and greet, to receiving the pets at an early hour on a Saturday morning, to sending me photos while I was out of town, and setting up time to facetime with my boys. She took extra effort to make me feel comfortable about leaving my dogs for the week while I was away on travel. I know Apollo and Artemis will be excited to stay and hang out with their new friend London.
