I cannot remember a time in my life where dogs have not been in my home. I grew up around my grandparents Yorkshire Terriers, and am currently living with a 9 m/o Golden Retriever. I have 2 yellow Labrador Retrievers back home, one is turning 17 this year, the other 11. Raising them since they were puppies to now senior dogs has taught me a lot about dog care at all stages in their lives. The 11 y/o was originally my neighbors, but she fell in love with my lab and came over to our house everyday, until one day she did not want to go home, and she eventually became our second dog. Our neighbors 3 y/o Goldendoodle runs over every day to play with my dogs and to see my family. I can read dogs well to see what they need, provide them with exercise and love, and can connect with them easily. Dogs truly bring me the most joy in the world and working with them would be a dream come true.
