Meeting my soul dog, Chichi, was an experience unlike any other I’ve ever had. He was a tiny Chihuahua that I nursed back to health while working in a veterinary hospital after he had been hit by a car. He stole my heart from the first time I set eyes on him and we were inseparable for over 16 years! There are a lot of pet sitters on Rover who have a love and passion for animals like I do, but my services differentiate themselves because of the wealth of knowledge and experience I bring with me to the table. I have been a certified veterinary technician for over 20 years and have worked in all aspects of veterinary nursing. I am extremely comfortable administering medications, can perform massage and physical therapy and am confident when taking care of sick pets or those who recently had surgery. I work in this field because I truly love animals and am so grateful I’ve been able to heal them when they’re at their most vulnerable. Now that I’m on Rover full-time, I enjoy the flip side of having fun with the animals in my care! I regularly house sit for my clients and have no problem doing light household chores or stepping in wherever you need. I always respect my client’s space, try to keep their pet’s care plan as consistent to what they’re used to as possible, and make sure I understand all expectations of me before starting a new job.
