Pet care experience
I started by caring for 4 cats at an early age. Feeding, nurturing, grooming. I've periodically done cat sitting for family members and close friends. By the time I was 20 I had been dog sitting for 2 years for people other than family. I have cared for elder dogs with cancer and respiratory issues. I've cared for all sizes of dogs by walking, feeding, bathing and playing. I only administer oral medications. The goal is to keep those tails wagging and the felines purring.

I can easily come by the client's home and play with the dog, take them to use the restroom, Clean up after them if needed, walk them and ensure they have proper food and water levels. I'm capable of sitting with them during the night or simply just checking in on them. Small things matter when caring for pets. Safety is important and comes in many different forms. Making sure all gates are closed before taking the clients pet outside to the restroom, thoroughly cleaning a bowl they use, or even making sure the pets leash and harness is back where it's supposed to be. If I'm walking a dog, I'm bringing plenty of water and making sure it isn't too hot. Safety is first.

A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks, if they have a favorite spot I enjoy starting there. Familiarity is crucial. Parks are always a fun spot. If it's a hot day a small pool with ice and water is always fun. I often bring a spray bottle with water to help keep the furbabies cooled down and plenty of water. I love to use any games that mentally stimulate their minds while on the other hand playing ball is always a great one too. Tug-of-war is good for exercise as well as Frisbee time.

Availability
Currently I have availability from in the morning at 9am until the afternoon at 3pm Monday through Thursday. And I'm available after 6pm on the same days listed above. I'm able to provide the attention each pet needs without them leaving their home.
