Pet care experience
Now based in Newington😊 I am experienced in looking after small to medium sized dogs in my home and my regular dogs include a greyhound, cockapoo & mixed rescue. Please note I live in a flat on the second floor. Your dog must be able to walk up & down stairs or be small enough for me to carry :). My instagram is aimeem_doggydaycare this is where I love to post pics of all your cute fur babies :) I will be contactable 24/7 when I have your dog and will keep you updated as often as you’d like. If we meet up before the care starts I’d recommend you give me some of your pets favourite toys, their bed, and even a jumper of yours to make them feel safe with your smell! I am council registered to walk dogs in this area and I have my own insurance with protectivity.

Each dog I care for gets 1-1 treatment. They have the whole flat to roam and are allowed to sit on the sofa and bed. I am based close to Arthur’s seat and the meadows so your dog will never get bored of their walks!

Please let me know if your dog has any special requirements or any of their preferences. I am more than happy to accommodate! Every dog is different which is what makes them so special. I like to know how often they are walked for, how many meals they have a day and any activities they like. Please let me know if your dog is nervous or does not like other animals. I will make sure to incorporate this into my day.
A typical day
I love to go long walks, great exercise for dogs but also lots of sensory things to smell and see. Other dogs are near by if your pet is friendly and would like to say hi! I also on a special occasion like to take dogs that I watch to get a puppachino at Starbucks or a local cafe if it’s nice and sunny outside. I have taken my parents dogs to portobello beach and they love being able to splash in the water and have a journey in the car. I do the same with the dogs I care for if I have them boarding for a few of more days!

Availability
I currently work a hybrid role with every second Friday off so I have plenty time to care you for lovely dogs. I am also available most evenings.
