Pet care experience
I have a bachelors degree in Wildlife Fisheries and Sciences with an emphasis in Animal Behavior from Texas A&M University (Whoop!). For the past four years I have worked at an open-admissions animal shelter that takes in 27,000 animals/year. While at the shelter, I worked with a behaviorist who taught me the ins and outs of positive reinforcement training, and how to adjust training to fit the needs of the specific personalities of dogs. I enjoy teaching dogs how to get their energy out in a positive and rewarding way! I have no breed preferences, and I am more than willing to care for anything from pups to senior dogs! I have a very flexible schedule and I am available on week days and Saturdays!
