Pet care experience
As a rural girl, I grew up on a farm surrounded by, not only working animals, but many loving pets as well. I have several years experience volunteering for exotic animal rescues and worked at a veterinary clinic while going to college. Now, I am a self employed artist working from my home studio and have flexibility board, visit, pet sit, and walk our furry friends!

I own my house and it comes complete with a large fenced and grassy backyard accessed by a 24/7 doggy door. If your pup stays with me, we will do a meet and greet with my fully vaccinated 8 year old Australian Shepherd who loves doggo friends to play with! If I am visiting your home, I am always respectful of the house rules and I pay close attention to your pet's behaviors. While walking your pup I vigilantly observe our surroundings and always carry a walking pack for the dirty turds.

I have chickens in a large dog run that dogs can see through. They do not wonder the yard when I am boarding, but it is important for me to know if your dog has a tendency to fixate on chasing, catching, or barking at small animals. Please let me know ahead of time if your pet has any special needs, recent injuries, anxieties, fears, and favorite things for comfort. If boarding your pup at my place, please let me know if your dog has expressed any aggression towards other dogs or children, has a fear of loud noises, and/ or is a runner or a digger.
A typical day
I have so many dog toys and my pup, Leo, loves to play tug-of-war. Our favorite places to walk are the South Scottsdale Green Belt, Tempe Town Lake, South Mountain trails, and my neighborhood in Tempe near Meyer Park. We walk to the lake and watch the ducks near Spokes.
