Taking care of dogs and cats has always been a true calling of mine. Since I was I was 8 years old, I have been around dogs of all breeds, shapes, and sizes. Going on walks, car rides, playing in the yard, cuddling up, you name it! With the dogs sometimes came the family cat who also needed care. Whether it's playing or just cleaning litter and feeding, I am willing to do whatever it takes to keep your family pet happy and healthy while you're away.

I have a large fenced in yard for my dog and his furry friends who come over often. My husband and I welcome all breeds, shapes, and sizes to board in our home and be welcomed as an extended furry family member. We limit the number of toys that are out to decrease any chances of a rumble occurring. Your pup will feel at home curling up on the couch or climbing into bed at night. We welcome lovable dogs! While in your home, I will provide updates during each visit and immediately alert of any concerns. You never know when the rugs may need to be cleaned or a bath is called for, but trust that I will make sure you come home to a happy pet as well as an undisturbed home.

Knowing ahead of time of any behavioral issues or special attention needed will make our visit a success. Meeting ahead of time and having written out instructions for feeding and care is preferred, especially if medications are involved. Meet and greets are mandatory for all boarding in our home. Our dog Zeus will let us know if your pup is a good fit as a member of our fur family.
A typical day
The fun doesn't stop in our home! Dogs are welcome to play as much as they can. Our dog Zeus loves to welcome new and old fur friends to play with his toys or run around in the large fenced in yard. My husband and I also enjoy throwing a ball or playing chase. We also encourage daily breaks and will separate the pups to cool off and rest. Of course all pups are spoiled with lots and lots of pets and cuddles. We have local hiking trails and would love to take your pup for a quick ride to the trail. Drop in visits will be full of attention in the form of belly rubs, going on walks, or playing with toys or fetch. My favorite visits usually end up with your dog cuddling up for all the attention possible!

Availability
Drop ins/walking: I have a flexible work schedule so I can make availability during early morning, late afternoon, and evening hours for walking and drop ins. We can always work out a schedule to ensure your pet is getting the attention they need. Boarding: having a flexible job works great with having pups staying in our home. Your dog will not feel any disturbance in their daily routine as we follow a schedule provided by owners. Every so often, my husband or I have to run out for a meeting, but return fairly quickly. We like to say this is the opportunity for pups to rest between playing or running around in our fenced in yard.
