Pet care experience
I love animals of every kind. I have my own dog as well as two family dogs that work as livestock guardians. I have experience with livestock as well as more common house pets so I can care for a variety of animals. I have several years of experience volunteering for a guide dog program and have done volunteer work in a cat shelter. I have experience training puppies and taking care of more exotic animals such as snakes and geckos.

Aimee is incredible with animals. I watched her raise a guide dog puppy and train him through all of his stages. She is good with puppies all the way up to senior dogs. She has cared for many of our friends animals over the years. She is extremely trustworthy and will always put the animals first.

I believe pet care is all about trust. As someone who has dogs I understand it can be hard to leave your four legged family members in the care of someone you don’t know, but I will do my best to provide the best care possible, tailored to your pets unique needs.

I would love to be notified of any health issues or behavior problems prior to sitting. I am ok with most behavior issues and am good as long as I have instructions on health conditions, but knowing beforehand can help me to prepare a lot better for your pups needs.
A typical day
A typical day for me involves getting up, taking care of animals, and then getting ready for the day. I have classes M-Th so I go to class and then do homework and play with/take care of animals. I will either play with the animals for a while or go for a walk in the afternoon between classes. I do volunteer Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6-8 so when I get back I check on animals do a last potty break and then go to bed.

I am currently a college student, so while I have some classes spaced throughout the day, I am available to stay overnight and have frequent breaks between classes to check in on your pup!
