Pet care experience
Young northern accountant and doctor who love London but desperately miss the family dogs including Poppy the chihuahua, Cuillin the collie cross and Miley our old foster lab/german shepherd cross. We love having them to stay when family goes away and live near battersea park for some great walks. We looked after Miley for 8 months before she found her forever home and it was a great experience, and training in caring for an energetic pup! Tom works from home half of the week and loves a fluffy companion to keep him company. We have lots of time for walks and doggy sleepovers over the weekends. We live in a flat in battersea which is dog friendly and very secure. We love walking along the river to battersea park to throw a ball and meet other friendly dogs along the way

Ailie has spent lots of time taking care of my Collie Shepard. He needs lots of love, care and attention as a rescue dog with separation anxiety. He has spent numerous weekends in her care and always returns happy and relaxed having had a wonderful combination of love and care, exercise, good nutrition and rest. I have also observed Ailie caring for a rather unsettled and complex needs rescue dog called Miley. I was very impressed by her consideration for his needs, her patience and her positivity towards him at all times. I have known Ailie for many years and can vouch for her good character and responsible attitude to all that she does.
Ailie always gravitates towards and gives special attention to every dog she comes across. She's always given extra love to our family dogs, and to be honest, I think they should've moved with her! She's looked after breeds from miniature chihuahuas to a golden retriever cross german shepherd, so I know she understands what different dogs need. Ailie is very clever and compassionate, and of course, responsible when it comes to ensuring good, healthy walks; I think she's the best dog mum!

It would be great to know how much walking a dog is used to and if they can be alone for short periods. Essential to know if they like other dogs and strangers so we can make sure they’re in their comfort zone. Any favourite treats would be handy also!
A typical day
We like to walk 2-3 times a day with toilet breaks in between. A good day is a mix of exercise to tire everyone out and then some chill time for some petting and Netflix. We love doggie cafe’s and pubs if a pup is happy in those environments.
