Home from home, genuine dog loving family!

Pet care experience

I've had dogs, cats, horses, ferrets, goats and rabbits my whole life. I've also worked with horses and in a boarding kennels/cattery for a number of years so experienced with many different breeds, shapes & sizes! Our family (includes 2 boys, 13yrs & 10yrs) we sadly lost our beloved dog (Springer) during lockdown and started to look after friends/family members dogs. Large or small, we are a fan of all! Happy to offer long/short walks both on or off lead depending on your dogs needs, basic training upheld and general coat care to keep your pooch healthy. Feeding as per your time schedule and unlimited fuss available! * We have previously taken on short - mid term emergency foster dogs at short notice bridging the gap to help them find their fur-ever home. * Experienced with young playful dogs and the older generation who need a slightly slower pace of life. Absolutely amazing! We left Bailey for the first time for a week. Aileen and her family were great. We were kept us up to date with regular photos and videos. 100% will be booking again. Thank you so much for treating my dog like your own 😀😀🐾

Aileen, Nathan and family have treated our boys as their own! We’ve had regular updates and photos over the weekend, which have been great to see how they’ve been settling in, but also very reassuring. The boys have had a fabulous time, both really relaxed and happy! They are looking forward to their next weekend break in June! Thankyou SO much Aileen!

We couldn't be happier with the care Bella received from Aileen and her family. I immediately felt comfortable with them and felt confident that they were experienced dog people who would be able to care for Bella. We love her to bits, but she's not the easiest of dogs. Aileen and her family are very relaxed and took Bella, and her quirky ways, in their stride. We will definitely book with them again 😁.

Information Aileen S. would like to know about your pet

Does your dog have any special diet requirements, treats allowed or not allowed? Any medical requirements/vitamins etc? What commands do you use with your dog? Are there any behaviour traits we need to be aware of, guarding of food, toys, shoes, tv remotes, a sock thief, overly vocal, doesn't like postmen, cyclists or motorbikes....? We've experienced all sorts and just like to know ;-) We request our guests are up to date with flea, worming and vaccinations please.

A typical day

From gentle strolls around the block to long cross country walks, around lagoons, on the park playing ball and even family trips out to Sherwood Forest, the beach or down by the river our guests join in the family fun! Always carrying fresh water & a bowl for hydration stops nothing is too much trouble. Cuddles and relaxation when home, on the sofa, by the fire or curled up in their own bed.
