I love dogs! I am patient, gentle and know how to handle even the most anxious and shy dog. But also love the playful ones. I am reliable and love walking with a dog whatever their range or pace. I will fit in with your dog’s routine and not expect them to fit in with mine. I will always communicate with you and keep you updated on your pet's care.

As soon as we met Aileen we knew Nell would be ok and were happy to leave her with Aileen for the weekend. Aileen is so lovely and she and her husband treated her beautifully with lots of fuss and walks. Aileen didn’t mind me contacting her to see if Nell was ok and she sent me photos of her regularly. I know she had a great time and that Aileen and her husband loved having her too, I am not sure that Nell wanted to leave! Would definitely recommend Aileen and hope to see her again sometime.
Aileen has looked after our dog Cara whilst we have been away. Cara is a two year old cross between a collie and poodle and is a lively, energetic dog who loves attention. She also suffers from separation anxiety. Aileen has been fantastic with her. Cara is always really happy to go to her house and settles in straight away. We are able to go on holiday relaxed and totally trusting that Cara is very well cared for. Aileen will be great with any dog as she adapts to their needs to make them comfortable, relaxed and at home.

I have a secure fenced garden. I don't have any other animals after recently losing our Yorkie after 16 happy years. There are no children in the house. We have several dog friendly parks within walking distance. If your dog is used to sleeping on beds or the sofa I don't have a problem with that but will keep the dog to your routine and rules.

Provided I have honest instructions on how to manage behaviours I am happy to take dogs who might need more understanding. I can usually tell the encounters to avoid and if your dog prefers solitary walks I can easily accommodate that.
A typical day
I love walking and especially with a dog in toe. When our boy got too old for long walks we had a little pack for him to have a carry when he got tired. Also love playing catch with them. We have a lovely park in walking distance from our home and love plodding around meeting all the other neighbourhood dogs.

Availability
I am based at home so your dog will always have company and as many toilet breaks as they like. I walk every day and would love to share this with your special companion. Weekends are an opportunity for longer walks if that fits your dog's routine.
