I’m an animal lover through-and-through. I have been taking care of animals on my own since I was 14, when I rescued my dog after her previous owners dumped her on the street mid-winter. She was traumatized and took a lot of TLC, extra care, and training to be a happy, safe, well behaved pup. Since then, I’ve cared for many animals with a variety of special needs. I worked on a therapeutic ranch for about 2 years, guiding individuals through interactions with emotional support animals including 3 horses, a pony, 3 goats, 5 chickens, 4 cats (plus an eventual litter of 4 kittens), and 2 Australian Shepherds, each with their own individual quirks. I fed, groomed, played with, and maintained a healthy living environment for all of these animals during the day, and then went home in the evening to take care of my own. Suffice to say, I’m familiar with a wide range of animals with a wide range of needs, and I am excited to use this experience to care for your animals, so you can take a break, and I can get my animal fix!
