Pet care experience
I’ve grown with dogs my whole life. As a kid we, were a Doberman family but we got a toy poodle and an Akita as well and their care was exclusively my responsibility. Over the years I’ve grown to appreciate and love the joy and metal health benefits caring for animals and welcoming them into your heart can bring families and communities.

I have ax extremely large (almost 3/4 of an acre fully fenced in yard. It’s a privacy fence so no one would see your pet. I also live next door to a very quiet, large municipal park with a very small woodland area. My pup absolutely adores her daily walks here. My own pup, Mikka, is used to getting a lot of attention and rubs throughout the day as there’s ALWAYS someone home. She is never alone. We are a household of 6 counting Mikka: My husband, two children, my parents and myself. Mikka has full run of every room in the house and 3 beds. But she typically prefers to rest in the living room and watch her dog shows or listen to her dad playing the piano.

Let me know what your pets allergies and food aversions are. We regularly give Mikka salmon/salmon skin, bacon, and bits of cheese as treats. Is your dog nervous around people or noises? What’s about other dogs? There is a large park next door to our house and we like to spend time there but at certain times of the day, there may be other dogs walking and small children playing there. It’s not a problem as the playground is easily avoidable.
A typical day
My favorite things to do with dogs are to play and wrestle around. I love a physical dog. Lots of toys are a plus. Our dog Mikka loves to run around the yard, fetch and has the zoomies quite often. When they need rest, I’m content to curl up with them on the couch or floor and enjoy some quiet time. Mikka also likes to spend time in the kitchen watching me cook and your dog is welcome to do the same in our semi- open plan house.

Availability
I work for the airlines so my schedule is probably closer to what most traditional jobs would consider part time. I’m home a lot a fill my days doing a computer based side job, as well as chores throughout the house so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets.
