Pet care experience
I've had pets of all kind since I was a small child (dogs, cats, birds, fish, hamsters, ferrets, bunnies, hermit crabs, ducks, geese, etc.) and I loved them all. My husband and I are very empathetic with animals and will be sure to give them the love and care they need. We've cared for animals at every stage of life and can learn quickly if there's some special accommodation needed. We've raised dogs of all sizes from a 120lb Great Dane, to a 10lb Chihuahua.

Ahmie is a dog sitter you will be very happy with. She is, above all, a lover of dogs and has one of her own. My own golden retriever, Homeboy, always comes home in a good mood after staying with Ahmie. The two of them really seem to have bonded. Ahmie is well organized and careful about following specific instructions. I feel very comfortable recommending her.

Ahmie and David take care of my dog every time we leave town. It's such a relief knowing he's in good hands, and a great neighborhood! They're very loving and I can trust that they'll soak his food before feeding him (he has bad teeth), and give him plenty of walks, play time, and cuddles.

Pets are family to us and there's nothing better than couch snuggles! We have a hyper Boston Terrier named Gideon who loves to play, and equally loves to crash on the couch with us after. The other pup (Samson) listed on our profile is my mother's dog and does not live with us. If you're looking for us to care for your pet, he/she must get along with or at least tolerate other dogs (no history of biting other dogs). Please note: we only accept bookings one month out (as reflected in our calendar) to ensure we can finalize our own travel plans before committing to sitting.

A typical day
Our days vary quite a bit, but there are always neighborhood walks, play time, car rides, and cuddle time. Let me know what you pet enjoys! Please note: We'll take your pup out every 4-6 hours. Roughly 8am, 2pm, 7pm, and 11pm. We can adjust slightly if needed, but cannot take them out more frequently than every 4 hours due to both of us having full time jobs!

We own our home on an acre of land with a rail trail and town forest right next door. My husband David works from home full time so your pet will never be left alone for extended periods, and I only go to the office 3 days a week.
