Dogs & cats have enriched my life since I was 6 years old. I've learned over the years to care for dogs, cats and other animals with special needs. I've had multiple animals reach old age and have much patience caring for them, including using IV fluids, medication administration including diabetes injections and special clean-ups, I'm fine with all tasks. Other types of pets I have skills with are chickens, cockatiels, reptiles, aquariums, rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, rats, hedgehogs & hamsters. I'm quiet, tidy, retired and have a very flexible schedule. Walking dogs is my favorite way to get daily exercise. My degree in Ecological Agriculture from Evergreen State College has provided me with the love and skill to care for plants and gardens. I'm friendly, happy, & caring. I spend most of my time outdoors, especially gardening, snorkeling and hiking. In my spare time I enjoy being a volunteer archeologist and making extra money doing interior house painting.
