My name is Afton and I LOVE animals. Growing up, I had neighbors who would regularly ask me to walk/feed their dogs while they were out of town. My husband grew up with dogs and cats in his home. My husband and I rescued a dog, Flash, 8 years ago when we bought our first house. Unfortunately, Flash has since crossed the rainbow bridge and we do not have any other animals in our home. We have a 5YO daughter named Piper who grew up around Flash. She is dog savvy and loves ALL types of animals.

We had an amazing experience with Afton! She sent daily updates of our pup and kept us posted on how he was doing. She worked with our cry departure and arrival times and was always so quick to reply. My pup loved her family. Will definitely be returning!

Our backyard is completely fenced in and the gates are locked from the inside. There is also a fully fenced dog park down the street from my house. The Jordan River trail is also close by my house so there are lots of opportunities for your pet to get outside and soak up the sun.

Please let me know if there are any medical or behavioral issues I should be aware of before watching your pet. Only crate and potty trained dogs, please. I am a homemaker and my husband works full-time from home. Someone is always at the house and there are plenty of opportunities to play and take potty breaks. We do have a 5YO toddler in the home but she is dog savvy. If there are medications that need to be administered, let me know when they need to be taken and I will make sure your pup is well taken care of while they are in my home.
A typical day
We will play a bunch of games, check out all the new smells in my neighborhood, and explore a big dog park nearby. We have a great walking trail down the street and quiet roads in our neighborhood which are great for meeting new friends. After a hard day of play, we will come back home and snuggle. Your furry friend will get all the belly rubs they could want.

I am a full time Mama. I am home all day with my daughter so your pet will never be lonely. My husband works from home full-time so someone is always home.
