I have a knack for connection & communication! I love meeting animals (& people) where they’re at, & helping them progress to a happier & healthier place in life. I have many years of experience doing just that, as an independent Pet Professional, Registered Nurse, and Family Nurse Practitioner. I’m currently devoting myself to the animals 100%!!! So, I’m all yours. 😉 Every dog I walk, gets special attention to their own unique needs. Basic loose leash walking and obedience training happens during every walk. We are always teaching or learning something, whether we realize it or not. I pay attention to what your dog is experiencing and learning around me. Positive reinforcement training, along side good communication reading/signaling, and making sure your dogs’ needs are met, will set your pup up for success and you’ll see the difference! Clients tell me they see better behavior and happier, more confident, and eager to please pups after we work together. We can work on socialization, confidence, reactivity, or just enjoy the outdoors, get some exercise, and have some cuddles. I love grooming dogs too! I used to brush my guinea pig’s teeth as a kid, lol. Now I clean dogs’ teeth… and everything else! Seriously, I do deep dental cleans, furmination/deshedding, wound care, nails, anal glands, ears, paw care, hair cuts, etc. After years studying dogs and people and working in the ICU (reading lips & vital signs), I’m pretty good at assessing all kinds of communication and have an ability to calm while I provide care. This helps me create a positive grooming experience, even for the most anxious “non-groomable” babies. Patience, kindness, and my love for all animals, means all species are welcome! I love fish, reptiles, and small mammals too. Drop in visits can be for any animal members of the fam. Of course I love caring for cats too! I let them come to me and enjoy gaining their trust and friendship at the pace they determine. I also love capturing their unique personalities and beauty in a picture, if they are so obliged! If your baby needs medications, injections, extra care when walking, uses assistive devices, needs practice with basic obedience, has allergies or special dietary needs, etc., you name it and we can work on it! I’ve had experience with all of the above over the years. My current children include a chameleon and a brown rescue, Pitbull type, dog. She is the sweetest and helps me train, socialize, and of course entertain! She’s extremely tolerant, patient, eager to please, and eager to be loved. She’s made her way into the hearts of people that are scared of dogs and dogs that “don’t like other dogs”. Give us a chance and you won’t regret it! As always, Adrienne took wonderful care of our Oliver! Highly recommend her especially for anyone who has a kitty that needs special attention/treatment. Oliver is diabetic but in remission, and still needs his blood sugar tested daily. Adrienne is a pro! And she always kept us up to date on how Oliver was doing each day. She’s an incredible sitter!

Schedule
Pet care is my routine! I’m a full time dog mom and pet care provider! Making sure my dog’s needs are met and your pets’ needs are met determines my schedule.

I live in a very dog friendly condo and have the ability to section off parts of the house. I have a medium and a large crate, an exercise pen, and a walk through baby gate, which is usually set up in the hallway and makes coming into the home more comfortable for dogs and humans alike. I will care for your animal the way you care for them. My dog free roams, but she’s no stranger to a crate and she won’t mess with anyone. Her style is “I’m ready to play, whenever you are”. I make sure everyone is comfortable and safe at all times
Pets
A typical day
Where we go and what we do depends on your dog’s needs and preferences! I’m here for them and for you, & I’m pretty much up for whatever. Solo hikes, play time & supervised socialization. I tend to groom dogs compulsively, lol. So, they will get a wipe down at the least before coming home. Deshedding, nail trim, full grooming, and deep dental cleaning can be done over the course of a pets stay, which makes it less stressful for them. Or if your baby just needs a potty break, a little play time & some love to tide them over until you get home. I’m here to help.
