Pet care experience
I am currently employed as a Foster Program Administrator with a small non-profit that works to preserve the human-animal bond. We recruit volunteers to assist with daily pet care and provide emergency foster care to pet owners living with disabilities and/or in recovery for substance use. I previously worked in the field of veterinary forensic sciences, assisting law enforcement in their investigation of animal cruelty cases in NYC. I am currently in graduate school to obtain my Masters degree in Veterinary Social Work. I have 11+ years experience working in veterinary clinics, doggy daycares, animal shelters and dog walking. I have handled dogs of ALL breeds, sizes and temperaments. I have extensive knowledge and experience on various medical conditions, treatments and medications. I also have extensive knowledge on animal behavior and identifying key signs of stress, discomfort or fear in both dogs and cats. I would also love to take care of any exotic pets, as I have extensive experience working with small mammals, reptiles, fish and birds ♡ I currently have a 35 lb pit bull named Pringlez who is disabled from a previous traumatic brain injury.
Reviews
Adrianna was amazing! She was so good to my girls while i was on an extended trip, provided them with lots of playtime and even bought them toys one day. My girls loved her - definitely recommend and will definitely be rebooking in the future. Thanks Adrianna!
Adrianna is an absolutely fantastic human being and animal advocate! Knowledgeable not only as an animal caregiver, but in the field of animal and human connection, Adrianna is very focused on making sure that any animal in their care is given the utmost care and attention. Even to miniscule details and behavior patterns. I would recommend Adrianna to anyone with glowing reviews, and will be using this wonderful caregiver again for future travels. My cats love Adrianna!
Adrianna was AMAZING! Asked all the right questions during our intro, took all of the instructions for Pugsley’s care seriously, played with him during the drop in visits with his favorite toy, and made sure he was well taken care of and loved. The daily pictures meant a lot, and the updates made me feel so much more comfortable being away and knowing he was alright at home. Hoping the next time I need to be away from home Adrianna is available and able to drop in on Pugsley. Stellar care and stellar pet knowledge.
Adrianna always takes thorough care of our cat and gives us detailed updates! We are big fans :)
