Hey there! My name is Anna and I love all dogs, big and small. Growing up I was surrounded by all different types of pets which helped to kick start my career in veterinary assisting. Since my freshman year in a vocational high school I have been working in the Veterinary medicine field; the past four have been as an emergency room vet assistant. Along with having pets of my own, I have had experience in pet sitting many friends and co-workers animals. Many pets I have taken care of have had daily medications that needed to be given or strict diets that needed to be followed and I have followed every direction to the letter. Having worked in the medical field, I am well versed in all things animal care including how to recognize/handle any medical issues that may arise. 4 days out of the week I am at the hospital while the other 3 will be spent full time with your loved pet. In the case of high maintenance pets, I thankfully have a job where I can bring pets that I am sitting with me to make sure they are getting care throughout the day. I love the opportunity Rover gives me as another way to combine my love for dogs and animal care and put it into doing something to help my community.
