I grew up around pets and have never not had one around! Dogs, cats, gerbils, turtles, saltwater fish, parrots, parakeets, horses, cows...you name it, I've had it! I have 4 years of veterinary technician experience, 3 of which were in ICU at Texas A&M University. I was lead ICU technician on my shift for over a year. I have 10 years of pet sitting experience, a lot of which has involved extended-stay boarding. I am a certified trainer with Patriot Paws service dogs, and am currently training a personal dog and a cat to be therapy animals. I currently work with several species of therapy animals in 3 different wonderful organizations! In my spare time, I like to make critter shelters and trap strays so they can find new homes. I also enjoy hiking with my dogs and cat! I'm a HUGE animal lover and work with animals for a living, and any chance I get to meet new furry friends, I jump on! I'm excited to be your pet's new BFF :) Also, I have no problem sitting elderly or sick animals. I can handle medication administration, specialized diets, incontinence, bandage changes, etc. I have a large breed dog ramp in my home for any animals with mobility issues so they don't have to miss out on couch time!
