Pet care experience
Being a lifelong dog lover, owner, and supporter, I work at a canine recreation center overseeing 25+ dogs at a time in both a daycare and pool setting, I also worked as an animal control officer for 2 years before moving to NC from Utah. Working there and owning dogs myself, I have learned a lot about differing temperaments, how to make a dog feel more comfortable in new surroundings, how to manage behavioral issues and how to use fair, positive and effective training techniques. I have experience and love for all breeds and sizes of dogs. I currently have a Weimaraner name Presley, who is my best friend, and wonderful with every dog he meets. I am excited to spend time with your pup(s), and help make their time away from you happy, fun and exciting. Presley and I are active, and have no problem going for hikes, walks or to a nearby dog park during the days to help your pup exert some energy and socialize!

We had never left our dog for longer than two nights with family, so we were really nervous about leaving her for two weeks. When we met Adriana, she quickly put us at ease. She connected immediately with our dog and treated her, and our home, with great care. She took our dog on daily walks, played with her in the yard and even got doggy snuggles at night! She sent us daily text updates and photos, so we didn't have to worry. We are so happy to have found Adriana and look forward to hiring her again!
Adriana is the ONLY person I will ever trust to watch my dogs when we leave town. She is trustworthy, compassionate, and understanding of even the strangest instructions when it comes to my dogs. My dogs love her as family, and get excited every time they see her. My female dog is aggressive with other dogs, and Adriana is able to manage her and take care of her just as I can. If anyone needs a dog sitter, Adriana is the ONLY OPTION! <3
We can't say enough good things about Adriana. Our dogs are our children :) and we trust her to the moon and back when she stays in our home and with our dogs. I am comfortable crating both in my home and a clients home when necessary for the dog (i.e. dog cannot be left unsupervised in the home). I don't crate dogs when I am home with them and like to ensure that they have full access to the house so they are more comfortable. I don't have a fenced yard, so outside time is always on leash with your dog to ensure safety.

It would be helpful to know as much as possible about your dog and his/her habits, feeding schedule, fears, concerns, etc. The more information you can give me ahead of time helps me ensure I can create the safest and most comfortable environment for your fur baby.
A typical day
I enjoy playing with all dogs and encouraging socialization while in the house. I have plenty of dog toys for them to play with and food puzzles to stimulate their brains. I live close to several beautiful walking trails for exercise.

I mostly work from home with some travel required on weekdays, making it easier for me to be able to make your pet feel more at ease with having someone consistently with them during the day while you are gone.
