Hello fellow dog lover! My name is Adriana Maria and I would love to take care of your dog! I grew up with dogs, my family adopted our first dog when I was 9 years old. I’m 25 now but my love for dogs has stayed the same! After more than 15 years of living, training, playing and loving dogs, I’ve learned a lot! This experience includes having THREE of my own dogs Laila (a one year old Golden Retriever), Lucho (a 13 year old Coker Spaniel-Poodle Mix) and Rio (a 2 year old goldendoodle). My dogs are my absolute world, since they have come into my life they have taught me about responsibility, selflessness and ethical care taking. I really do consider them my family, up to the point that they all sleep with me on my bed, haha! Other than my own dogs, throughout high school I worked with a rescue dog team called "Tara's House Volunteers" in Maryland. Their mission is to find dogs that have been rescued from abusive situations a new forever home. My work with them taught me about how to handle sensitive dogs and how to take care of dogs that are not initially trusting. My job with them included walking the dogs and keeping them calm when meeting new potential families. This also taught me physical dog handling skills and about how dogs process emotions and build faith in humans. It gave me a new found persoective and insight on these amazing animals! I use all of this experience, personal and work to inform my practice. So when your fur-babies, sons, daughters, pets (whatever you want to call them!) are with me, you can trust that I will give my 110% in not only giving them a satisfying experience but also build a relationship founded on trust, faith and love with them!
