I've lived with dogs and cats my whole life. When I turned old enough, I started to learn how to take care of them. During high school I was a dog sitter for my aunt's two dogs. During each visit I took them outside to play, then I would feed them and hangout with them inside for awhile so they were able to interact with someone everyday they were gone.

A typical day
I know that dogs need to be stimulated mentally and physically, so I like to be able to incorporate what they might enjoy at home during our walks. If your dog is high energy and likes to play ball or with toys, I would bring those on the walk with us. If your dog is more relaxed I would find a nice place with a stress-free environment for them. I have a walking trail near my apartment that is great for dogs and has multiple areas to stop and play, relax, or to use the bathroom/drink water.

Availability
I’m a full time Purdue student majoring in fitness, nutrition and health. During my free time I like to stay active in any way I can. One of my favorite things to do is walk and take care of dogs. My school schedule is set up to where I have multiple days during the week to where I’m free to do so!
