Growing up I wasn't allowed to have any pets. After caring for an elderly dog, Ruby, I learned that I really love them! I am taking a break from teaching elementary school and have more time in my life to bring joy to a dog who needs some company! I am happy to host a dog for an extended period of time. I live near a big park, have a small fenced-in yard, a comfortable dog bed, and an organized home! I love going for long walks daily so a dog will be the perfect companion. I have also cared for a dog by staying with her at her home. I can provide references. I am flexible with time and open to specific dog needs and preferences.
