Hi! My name is Adriana. I have been caring for dogs for about 14 years now. I have my own dogs, Gilligan, an 8 year old lab/plott hound mix and Zara, my 1.5 year old lab mix who LOVES playing with other dogs! We are big on hikes and playing outside often. We have a 6ft fence around our little yard in the city so dogs will have easy access to a potty break as often as necessary. I also foster for a local rescue, so occasionally there will be a foster dog in my house too. Most of the time I will be home with the dogs (I work from home), but if I am not, then dogs will be crated (if crate-trained) or separated when not supervised. I would love to meet you and your dogs, feel free to ask any questions! If you are interested in house-sitting services, I also have experience caring for rabbits, cats, goats, chickens, and horses (additional charge). I work from home full time so I have plenty of time to hang out with your pets! We usually take a walk in the morning around 8 and then again when I am done with work around 5. We do potty breaks every 2-3 hours while I'm working. We have a yard with a 6ft fence and a 2 lab mixes of our own to keep your dog company and play! When leaving the house, I separate all dogs in either rooms or crates and everyone gets a high value treat. I normally do not sit for more than 1-2 dogs (in addition to mine) per stay so that I can give each dog plenty of attention!

Adriana was really wonderful! She took great care of our pit bull mix, Lola, while we were gone for two weeks. My husband was having surgery in NYC and the regular updates, photos and videos Adriana send reassured me that all was well with our doggie. Lola got along great with sweet Gillie. We are so grateful to Adriana!
Adriana was great, very willing to work with me in advance to make sure my slightly challenging dogs were comfortable with her before the stay. She sent regular updates and photos and my dogs were clearly happy with her in the house. I will definitely use her again in the future.
Adriana took excellent care of our Newfoundland dog, Roz, while we were away on vacation! She was very responsive, kept us updated daily, and sent photos and videos so we could see the pups at play. Great backyard for a lot of room! I highly recommend her services and believe your pup will experience a great stay with Adriana! ?

I have a fenced yard with a 6 foot fence where dogs can go frequently, however they will never be outside alone. In my home, dogs will be allowed in the entire home, but when unsupervised, dogs will be separated. Dogs will also be fed separately and I monitor body language closely to prevent any issues with sharing toys. All dogs are required to be up to date on flea and tick medications and fully vaccinated. When on walks, if your dog uses a harness, I will attach the harness to the collar to prevent any slipping since dogs can behave differently in new environments. I've fostered dozens dogs for over 8 years for Lucky Dog Animal Rescue and working with rescues has taught me a lot about how to keep dogs safe and happy :)

I would prefer the dog be house trained and crate-trained, however the crate-training is not a must. If it is a puppy or senior, I understand those may be works in progress and that's okay too. Dogs must also get along with other dogs to stay here since I have 2 very friendly lab mixes.
A typical day
We will go on walks around the neighborhood, or any trails close by. On weekends we will often take the dogs on hikes for a few hours!

Availability
I work from home and have a fenced in yard so dogs get frequent potty breaks. Additionally, my partner and I take all dogs on a 20-30 minute walk each morning and evening. On weekends we like to take the dogs on a longer walk or hike when possible.
