I’ve taken care of my dogs as I grew up with them - over the past year I flew out and travelled with my 13 yr old Maltese - I have had lessons to train him which I have also worked on with our other dogs. (another 13 yr old Maltese and a 1 yr old great dane) and have been asked to dog sit for others. I have dog sat my friend’s Shiba Inu and cat for a few days and watched over friends’ pets (cats and dogs) if I’m over and they have to go to work or run an errand. I am currently applying for a part-time job, and I am very flexible — will update when I get my schedule. For the past month, my dog Bamm Bamm and I have been traveling on bus, plane, car, and have been camping so I have been very close in taking care of him. Now that I am back home, I mainly take care of my 2 and occasionally my sister’s great dane. The 2 little ones tend to be separate from the dane. I make sure they have a comfy area to sleep. At my client’s home, I am near them at all times. I take any job I have seriously and am constantly trying to improve to satisfy the client. I am currently a college student and have been taking care of my dog on my own for the past couple years. I wake up and go to bed with my dog by my side, so pet care always fits into my routine. I stay with them at all times to keep an eye on what they may need. For my client’s, I make sure to know their schedule for when to take them out/feed them and what their favorite toy is.
