Pet care experience
For the past 2 years I have been house/pet sitting for 3 families. I have been taking care of both dogs and cats ranging from a tiny Italian greyhound to big lovable pitbulls! I have experience with taking the dogs on walks, adhering to feeding schedules and different medication needs, cleaning up any accidents or gifts from the pets (ie. Lizard, bird, mouse). I have previously taken care of 6-8 week old lab puppies and older dogs at the age of 15, so I am familiar with dogs of all ages. I absolutely adore all dogs and would love to meet yours!

When you need to leave your beloved dog behind I would highly recommend Adra Nelson. Our dog is a special member of our family and whoever cares for our dog while we are away is extremely important to us. Adra Nelson was referred to us by a close family friend which I am so grateful for. We trust Adra with our dog as she shows responsibly, respect, and her natural tender loving care she gives our dog is so wonderful. We never have to worry about our dog and his care while we’re away and he’s always happy and relaxed when we return home! Our dog does suffer from anxiety and shyness but that is all overcome when Adra comes to pet sit!
Adra has cared for my two pitties for a few years now when leaving on vacations. She loves animals and is so very nurturing of them. Adra is beyond trustworthy with not only the care of our animals but our home. She stays in our home so that my dogs are not lonely. She comes and goes as her schedule allows feeding them, walking them and giving them extra tender loving care when home. She follows very detailed instructions i.e. medicine doses, food quantity etc. I love that Adra will send pictures of our fur babies and updates while we are gone. Adra is a wonderful person with a huge love for dogs. I highly recommend her.
We travel frequently and know our pets are in loving and competent hands with Adra. She not only takes care of their needs and safety, she plays with our animals, and genuinely loves them. Our dog is delicate and needs a LOT of attention, and we are so happy when we can have Adra come, we know our precious pets are well taken care of. We have referred Adra to our friends and everyone loves having her pet sit. She is sweet and easy to work with. I can't imagine anyone better to tend our babies!
Adra loves dogs and has cared for and walked her neighbors dog. She loves being outdoors and would love the opportunity to take care of your dog. Adra is responsible and a hard worker.

A typical day
Depending on what the dogs likes to do I am happy to go on walks, to the dog park, and of course play fetch or tug of war. Just let me know what your dog loves and I am happy to oblige!

Availability
I have an internship M-F from 7am-3pm, but other than that I am flexible to walk dogs in the evenings and the weekends. I’m happy to stay the night if the dogs are okay with me being away during the day.
