Hi! I’m currently a recent grad from Northwestern University with a love for all animals, whether they are big or small, young or old. I’ve been around dogs for my entire life, but I started caring for them myself when I was about 10 years old when our family dog (a senior boxer named Tucker) fell ill and needed care while my parents worked. After he passed, we rescued a Lapinporokoira (a large herder dog weighing about 70 lbs) named Jake who is about 10 years old now. In 2018, we also rescued a boxer puppy named Lucy who is about 3 now. Although I’ve cared for mostly larger dog breeds throughout my life, I also love small dogs and have experience caring for Pomeranians specifically (thanks to my Aunt’s adorable baby Tazzy). Within the past two years, we’ve also adopted two cats: a gray tabby named Ginny, and an American Bobtail named Tiger. I’ve loved every second we’ve had with these precious babies. Although having a full house of animals can sometimes be a bit chaotic and challenging, I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
