Hello :) My name is Adina! I enjoy spending time with and caring for all animals. I'm friendly, respectful, responsible, and attuned to each animal's individual needs. I've spent time caring for animals both in a personal and professional capacity - raising and training puppies, guiding outdoor adventures for pups and people, caring for farm animals, and through wild and domesticated animal care work through the Humane Society. I have worked in a Veterinary reception role in Vermont. I am a stay at home mom with a young baby and my schedule is very flexible.I live with my family and beloved cat Squid. He is very social and friendly towards other animals. We are not ready to adopt another cat, so we would like to open our home to others who need a temporary place to stay while their humans are away.

Squid has a very large cat tree with lots of space to share. We have many cozy chairs and warm spots for lounging in the sun. For cats who prefer personal space, we can arrange a private area for them and a separate litter box and eating area. We would provide a safe introduction initially and cater to your cats personality and needs. Our home does not have any plants that are toxic to cats, though we do have some safe ones that Squid likes to nibble on from time to time.

Tell me a little bit about your kitty (size, breed) and any particulars about their personality, style, and preferences. As I have another cat in the house, I can only accept cats that have received core vaccines (Rabies, FVRCP) and are negative for Feline leukemia. Squid is up to date on all! Please be prepared to provide documentation of vaccinations and contact for your vet in case of emergencies.
A typical day
It's an indoor cat life! Nap, Wake up, eat breakfast, patrol the area, play with toys, investigate sounds and movements, follow the sun around the house, nap in all the spots, grooming and scritches, play with toys, more naps!, grooming, dinner, on and on!

Availability
We are flexible! Squid has scheduled eating times twice a day. We have lots of time for pets, grooming, and reading, socializing together in the evening. Sometimes we leave during the day to run errands and always make sure there is clean litter and water available at all times.
