Pet care experience
I am a friendly, dog-lover who has had dogs all my life; I see them as family. I am a marine biologist working from home with two of my own dogs. The oldest is a 10-year-old rescue mixed hunting dog, Hershey. l also have a <1 year old husky, who loves to play. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes, and am happiest when surrounded by furry friends. I am very active and enjoy walks two to four times a day in addition to being available to provide plenty of outside time in my large fenced yard. I've also added a small doggy pool for cooling and drinking.
Reviews
Adelle was great! We had an initial meeting and she instantly connected with our two pups. We will definitely use her services again.
I adored her as soon as I met her!! She’s intelligent, warm and the pugs took to her right away. I want to leave a bad review so that the rest of you don’t have her booked all the time :). Of course I wouldn’t but you get the idea. Our flights were canceled due to weather and Adelle was anticipating the situation and let me know she would take care of my boys if necessary. The peace of mind is everything!
Diogi had a great stay with Adelle and Hershey. I received many updates and photos during Diogi's stay. She gave him a lot of attention, walks, and trips to the dog park. I would definitely use Adelle again.
Adelle is so wonderful!! My lil Cali girl absolutely loved her time spent with Adelle and her sweet pup Hershey and was so content each day when I got off work. I highly recommend Adelle for any of your pet sitting/walking needs!

Information Adelle M. would like to know about your pet
I need to know their feeding and regular walk schedule in addition to any food allergies and sensitivities, such as reactivity to thunder, resource guarding, etc. I always ask about what the owners preferred sleeping arrangements are (for overnights), and make sure to check what kinds of treats are acceptable to give them and how heavy of a chewer they are.
A typical day
I start my day by feeding the dogs and letting them into the yard while I have my coffee and breakfast. Sometimes I'll get back in bed to snuggle with Hershey before we go on our morning walk. There's often some playing during this time. Then I'll take an afternoon walk instead of a lunch break. Dinner is at around five and then some time in the evening we'll go in a longer walk or two, depending on the weather. We typically walk 2-4 miles a day, and I usually have a solid play session either inside or in the yard. Sometimes the boys play together, other times I'm more involved. I also take the dogs to either a dog park or a nature trail in the afternoon or early evening at least once a week.

Availability
I spend a lot of time on pet care both daily and on the weekends. Since I work from home I am flexible on the timing of walks and am also able to let the dogs in and out regularly throughout the day. On weekends, when the weather is nice, I'm often on adventures with the dogs, such as hiking or kayaking.
