Pet care experience
Since I was 15, I have been my neighbors' and friends' go to pet-sitter. I'm incredibly active, love all furry friends, and have been a pet-owner, myself, since I was 3 years old. I've worked with both cats and dogs and haven't met one yet that I can't get along with. I've also worked alongside veterinarians in the St. Louis area when I shadowed some in my junior year of college. This has made me accustomed to all ages and all breeds and I am so excited to help you and your pet in any way I can! Some of my most favorite dogs have been an older pitbull in Chicago who just loved her kong and a six month old weiner dog with a vendetta against all paper products! Adeline was a wonderful sitter to our two cats! She was communicative, diligent, respectful, and so loving with our girls. We got consistent updates and pictures of the pets on our trip, and she even went so far as to clean our house before she left. We would happily recommend her to any other anxious pet parents.
Adeline was great! This was our first time having someone we didn’t know watch our dog and we were nervous how it would go since he can be an anxious guy. Adeline made us feel comfortable and confident. She sent us pics and communicated while we were away. Everything went great and we highly recommend her!
Adeline was so sweet and took great care of my pup while I was at a wedding. Her flexibility was greatly appreciated and I’m hoping she’ll be willing to help out again in the future. 🙂

Though I don't offer any services in my own home, I take pet-sitting at my client's homes very seriously. I like to keep the pets company, as I know how boring the day can get, and am always eager to take them on walks. I also believe it's always nice to come home to a clean house, so I try to keep client spaces as tidy as I can. As for the pets, I like to prioritize their happiness above all else.

It would be awesome if you could tell me any special needs your pet may have. I don't shy away from medications (oral or injected) and I'm happy to provide all anxious pets the space and love they need to thrive. I just need to know beforehand so that I can best help everyone involved.
A typical day
One of my favorite things to do with dogs is to let them lead the way! I love taking dogs on walks and seeing where they take me :) Maybe they'll want to go a different route to catch new scents or maybe they'll just want the usual! For both cats and dogs, I think play time is essential. I pretty much never tire out from throwing a ball or dragging string across a floor.

Availability
I have recently started medical school, and would love a pet to come back to and take care of in the evenings or even during my breaks in the day. I typically have at least one long day out of the week for my classes that go from 9-5pm. Most other days and most weekends though, I aim to be gone for no longer than 4 hours at a time so that your pet doesn't get too bored or lonely. If you're nervous about my weekly med school routine, don't be afraid to ask :) Rest assured, I'll give your animals as much love as I can during my stay!
