Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of and lived with multiple dogs since I was born (26 years!). I have lots of experience with senior dogs, including administering medication, and dogs that require lots of attention, exercise, and play time. I have watched my friends’ and neighbors’ dogs (and their owner’s houses) since I was a teenager!

Our experience with Adele as our dog (16-week-old puppy) and cat (7-year-old) sitter was exceptional. She is incredibly trustworthy and extremely capable of handling our pets' needs. Adele took great care of our furry family members, ensuring they were happy, healthy, and well-exercised. Her professionalism and genuine love for animals were evident from the start. We felt completely at ease knowing our pets were in such good hands. We would hire her again anytime without hesitation. Highly recommended!
Adele’s been brilliant, helped me out really last minute and had really flexible availability. Pups seem to like her too! Absolutely recommend.
Adele has been fantastic with Mattie as always! He’s a rescue and has not had the chance to meet many people but he’s very comfortable with her and I can tell from all the cute photo updates Adele sends me that he loves her visits, it definitely brightens his day!

When visiting an owner’s home, I usually give the pet time to get used to my presence (being very relaxed, giving them space, being quiet) — I can crate the pets if needed as well. I then try to spend time close to them, whether it’s playtime or allowing them the space to come to me and say hi. Once we are comfortable, I will play, cuddle, walk — whatever the pet wants to do! I try to spend as much time in the home during the stay as possible so the pet is not alone too long.

Let me know if your dog has any specific boundaries or habits. I am a smaller person (155 cm), so I prefer working with small/medium breeds. If you have a large dog that is more excitable, please let me know!
A typical day
I love to take energetic dogs out to local parks to smell, play (on or off lead), and get them excited and tired out. For more senior dogs or cats, I will hang out with them, pet/cuddle (if they like that), and make sure they feel safe and comfortable.

I’m currently a freelance musician and part-time music teacher (2-5pm, Tue/W/Fri), so I have lots of time and flexibility in my weekday and weekend schedule for pet care!
