Adelaide seems like a lovely person, and she’s probably a fine dog walker. I hired Adelaide as a house sitter — generally a house sitter stays in your house, right? At 7 AM, my neighbor messaged me to tell me that Alfie had been howling all night long. (Because my house sitter did not stay in my house. And left my dog, who only once, five years ago, spent a night without humans.) The situation was stressful enough that my dog had a lot to say about it, so loudly and sadly that in a whole other house, my neighbors could hear him. I was concerned that Adelaide had an accident, and was incapacitated in some way. (Nah - she just decided it would be OK if she went home go to sleep and came back in the morning.) I asked my neighbor to go in and check, they found no house-sitter, and a really stressed out, upset dog who seriously needed to pee. I then scrambled to figure out alternate care for Alfie until I could get home. Thank goodness for kind neighbors. I can’t imagine trusting Rover for house sitting again.

Adelaide S. is a great dog sitter! She takes care of our Dwight--he loves her and is so happy when she comes by. She is very sweet and always has a smile on for nice walks and good snuggles. She is thoughtful and thorough with her dog sitting tasks, highest recommendation!
