Pet care experience
Our house is in the heart of Shaw, next to two wonderful dog parks. We have a dog of our own that loves to play and is very social with other dogs. Both my husband and I have been lifetime dog owners and look forward to welcoming your pet as our own. We both work a 15 minute walk from our home and come home every weekday during lunch. On the weekends we spend at least two hours at the dog parks along with plenty of walks through the day. We often like to go on adventures during the weekend so our dog can enjoy running and swimming. About this sitter: Young professional loving life with my husband and our 5 year old rescue! Tumbi is a sweet, energetic pup who loves to play! I enjoy spending time outdoors and staying active. Why I love dog sitting I've been an animal lover my whole life. Growing up in Connecticut we had plenty of pets ranging from dogs, cats to even some chickens. I love all dogs and have had a variety of breeds. Meet my pets We have one dog, Tumbi - no other pets. About my yard We have both a front yard and a large back patio where my dog loves to relax and enjoy fresh air. We are also a 15 minute walk in between two dog parks that we visit every day. Our dog had a great stay! Adela sent daily photos and updates during my dog's 6 night stay. Adela and her husband were very responsive via email and text and flexible in coordinating pick-up and drop-off. We'll be looking to book with them again.
Reina had a fantastic time! Adela was a great sitter, and updated us frequently with cute photos. Adela was also very understanding when I had to pick up Reina later than originally scheduled. Thanks again! Reina hopes to return soon.

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks All around the city! We prefer to enjoy the quieter streets around Logan Circle and Shaw. We spend time walking to the dog parks, enjoying Meridian Hill park, St. Francis enclosed field in Georgetown and even Shirlington, VA. We always want to keep the variety coming! Your dog's sleeping arrangement Wherever they are most comfortable. We allow our dog to sleep on either his bed or ours so we are very flexible! Time I'll spend with your dog At least 4-6 hours. During the weekdays I get up early enough to spend an hour on a walk before getting ready for work. I come home during my lunch break for another walk and then am home at 5pm to have time to go to the park and play. On the weekends it is all about getting outside and enjoying time with my pup. I will usually be spending the whole day with your dog on the weekend.
