Here is my guide for how I ensure the well-being of your pets: Prior to the pet care, I schedule an initial consultation (via text, phone, or in-person) with owner to discuss their pet’s needs, habits, and any specific instructions. If boarding, I pet-proof my house by ensuring any potentially hazardous items or substances are not present. I maintain secure fencing and ensure doors and windows are closed to prevent accidental escapes. For the pet’s comfort, I stick to the pet’s established routine regarding feeding, exercise, and bathroom breaks to reduce any stress. I ask that I am provided with familiar bedding, toys, or bowls if the owner know’s their pet tends to feel anxious in new environments. While in my care, I monitor the pet’s behavior/health and communicate any concerns or changes to the owner. I also plan to share regular updates and photos to assure the owner of the pet’s safety and well-being. Lastly, I respect the privacy of my clients and their homes. This includes never handling items unrelated to my pet services in their home and never sharing personal information or photos of the property.
