I have been raising and training French Mastiff puppies for the last 25 years. I do have a six month old mastiff now. My daily routine for the last 25 years has been get up in the morning feed the dogs take them on a walk spend some time playing with them. Then I repeat that when I get home from work. On days off I'll take them to the dog park or on a hike. I work less than 10 minutes away and can come home during lunch to take the dog out if it needs training or it needs to be outside more often like a smaller dog. I'm okay with the dog on the couch but I also have a big dog bed with a memory foam mattress for large dogs. I do have a fully connected Smart home so I am able to check in on the dogs during the day to make sure they're doing all right.
