Positive Pack Leader

Pet care experience

I have always kept a close bond to all the dogs in my life. Since I was a child, dogs have been a part of our family. I have learned a great deal from caring for dogs. With out question it is the peace and harmony a pet brings to an environment that I enjoy most. Dogs live in the moment and it's the adoption of this perspective that has provided me with the tools to expand this peace to all aspects of my life. This peace has helped me to become calm, patient, consistent and assertive in a positive way. It is for these reasons that my friends and family now see me as their go to dog sitter. When I heard about Rover, I thought that the service would be a natural fit. I would also have the added benefit of hanging out with new furry faces. I like to rise early so when your pet stays over we would get our day started when the first bird starts to sing. Oscar my dog likes to play in the yard for a while before breakfast. We will water the plants and tend to the yard. Oscar mostly chases butterfly shadows. Yes shadows, funny as heck. Lucy a Jack Russel we lost last year, loved to play in the water in the morning. after this we will all eat and then in the house for a few hours. After lunch outside for a short play break if its hot. We will stay in until late afternoon when we go for a walk around the neighborhood. We live near the National Monument on the east side so it's very scenic and very few cars. I work during the week so I am currently planning only week end stays unless drop off could occur after 5 p.m. and pick up before 7 a.m. My son Seth lives in the home and absolutely loves dogs. Our home is quiet, clean, comfortable and peaceful. I have no doubt that your dog will find it the same. My dog Oscar is a sweet, adorable and affectionate dog and loves playing in the yard with new friends.

Adam proved to be perfect for my sweetheart service dog’s 24/7 companionship needs for two consecutive days, since she is accustomed to being with someone (me!) at all times. He gladly allowed me the time to stay a while with him, at first, to show her – in a way she would understand – that he was OK for her to stay with. Simultaneously, he took that time to interview me, relative to specifics of her idiosyncrasies, routine, and specific needs; all the while, taking notes. I was impressed and grateful for his detailed interest. His home is open, and yielding to dogs of any sort, and ready for play. His tiled floor, throughout, is very accommodating to any and all dogs and their innate desire to lay their bellies on a cool, tile floor, in our beautiful desert climate. Adam’s welcoming attitude is such that, “anything goes” for the dog - pervasively - throughout his home. “His casa is (indeed) their casa,” as it is set up to truly accommodate them...first. (Not only smart, but true love❣️) He has a laid-back and “roll-with-the-punches” attitude, that very much helps puts the dogs (and this owner!) at ease.?? Additionally, his front courtyard is totally fenced off, and allows easy access for not only potty breaks, but outdoor playtime. I am told that my girl had a fabulous afternoon with one of her favorite past times – chasing lizards! ? I had reason for particular concern, since this was my dog’s first overnight stay away from me with a stranger, and she is an extremely emotional dog, independent of her attachment to me, personally. Regardless, it all worked famously for two consecutive days and nights. ??☺️? A second, older dog, that Adam was also caring for, whose simultaneous time overlapped for only an evening and overnight, had its own specific needs and concerns. He reviewed those with me; and, again, I was impressed with his thoughtful choice to not have the two dogs interact. If this review seems verbose, it is for good reason; there are many positive things to be said. BOTTOM LINE: I would recommend Adam without hesitation. ???⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Adam was amazing! He made me feel comfortable right from the beginning with a pre meet and greet. He was warm and welcoming with a very clean and beautiful home. He was organized with a questionnaire to get all the information on my Dayzee. He reassured me as I was a bit nervous using the service for the first time. I would not hesitate to use Adam again and will absolutely recommend him to others. Thank you Adam and Oscar for a pleasant experience.

Adam has watched my dog on several occasions and my dog gets excited every time she sees him. I think she gets more excited to him than me.
