Attention all pets and parents! My name is Adam and I am a former Instructor at Guide Dogs for the Blind. I've worked extensively in dog care and training, and my goal is to provide customized care for your pet! Why I love dog sitting I've been a dog lover since I met my first golden retriever a long, long time ago. I started working at a dog day care in high school, and developed a real interest in behavior and training. I went on to volunteer with wolves and exotic cats, before deciding to return to domestic animals. Since then I have volunteered at the Humane Society, worked as a pet and gundog trainer, and was recently an Instructor at Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Rafael, CA for 8 years. I've known Adam for more than 10 years and there isn't a person on earth who loves, cares, and handles dogs better. From giant Irish Wolfhounds to cute Chihuahuas, he is their best friend upon minutes of meeting them. He's got the perfect disposition to be the one in charge of your pet: an easy sense of humor, relaxed nature, and that child inside that loves to wrestle and roll in the mud! But don't worry, he's very careful to clean off his and your dogs paws if they get dirty. Worried your alpha bulldog won't follow a stranger's orders? Not with this guy; he volunteered at a wolf reservation out west and knows how to safely bring to any hound to heel. It's an easy question for me - need a dog sitter, call Adam!
Adam has been a trustworthy dog-sitter for me on a number of occasions. While living on the East Coast he was always my go - to dog sitter. He was wonderful with my dog and always accommodated my specific needs (my dog doesn't usually respond well to men, but loved Adam). He stayed in my home while I was away, as well as the much needed coverage on long days when I couldn't make it home at lunch. Wish he still lived on the East Coast, was always a lifesaver!

Time I'll spend with your dog Each dog will receive a minimum of 1/2 hour of play and walking in the morning and the same in the evening during the week. On weekends, I typically like to take the dogs outside for longer walks or hikes.
