Pet care experience
I have cared for many cats and dogs throughout my life. I think of taking on a pet as a lifetime commitment. My philosophy is that one should not take on a pet that one is not willing to care for over their entire life. I have also been a long-term volunteer at the Humane Society.

I have a very large yard and when indoors your canine family member is unlikely to come into contact with other pets. That is useful in case they do not play well with others. Some pets are more into people than other animals. : )
