I am really firm on getting a proper introduction to your animal before we work together. Your animal is YOUR companion, and needs to know that I have been accepted into the pack and do not pose a threat. Dogs can be very sweet and loving to you, but may be unexpectedly weary of strangers. That's ok! We just need to get to know each other :) Some important information for me to know are things like: Does the dog has any history of aggression towards people or other animals? Does the animal have any allergies or health concerns? Is there a limit to the distance we should walk? (My dog isn't supposed to walk far due to her age and joint problems, so we just go out for short walks a few times a day!) Does your dog have specific verbal commands? Are there any habits you are trying to enforce or break that I should know about?

I love to hike the local trails - at Lone Mountain or near Red Rocks - but my old girl Melodee can no longer take the high mileage like she used to so we mostly stick to the neighborhood and the local park. Depending on your pet's needs - we can walk the neighborhood, go to a local park - or even hit the trails if we have enough time! I love playing fetch with your dog - our recently passed fur baby LIVED for the ball! We can take it easy, play with the ball, or go for an adventure -whatever your dog needs. With cats I like to take it easy, their energy is so great and calming - we can play with their toys, play hide and seek, or read comics so they can see the pictures :)
