Pet care experience
I was a professional dog walker and sitter in Canada for just under two years before returning home in July. I have worked with dogs of all sizes, ages and activity levels. I am also fully canine first aid trained.

I’ve never seen Adam as happy as he is when around dogs. His two years experience in dog waking and sitting have involved him working with large numbers of dogs who not only come out of their shell but wait at their front door when they know it’s time for their walk with him! He is responsible, level headed and caring - therefore the perfect dog caregiver. I’ve joined Adam on some of his walks in Canada and seen first hand how he jumps into action in emergency situations (bear on a trail) to keep the dogs and himself safe. Any dog would be lucky to have Adam walk them!

Knowing if your dog has any allergies is important and any reactivities you know of such as joggers, cyclists, other dogs, children or small animals. I know most breeds pretty well but I have the most experience with Husky crosses, GSDs and Retrievers
A typical day
I usually take my dogs somewhere out in nature, such as Kirkstall Abbey where they can go on a sniffari and just act like a dog. I love playing fetch and tug of war with more energetic dogs and also relaxing walks with older dogs at the pace that suits them.
