Pet care experience
I have taken care of friends and neighbors pets for most of my life. I have experience and an understanding of the needs of puppies as well as senior dogs. I love to assist with socializing dogs and have them accompany me on long walks or hikes and understand the needs of more senior animals or those that don't enjoy socializing. As a parent to a dog that dealt with F.C.E., I am experienced and empathetic to pets with specials needs and love to work with them.

My partner also offers pet sitting services on Rover and I currently assist her with our at-home stays. We do have an eight year old cat who does enjoy the company of dogs. With that said, it is important for us to have a meet and greet before we agree to in-home sitting. Our cat Crash is the boss around these parts so we have to make sure she's agreeable to share her space with your pet. I also offer overnight or extended stay pet sitting at your place of residence.

I like to know if a dog is leash trained or has shown animal aggression before taking them on more than a basic walk. This is especially important to know if we plan on a park day.
A typical day
I love to go to the park or on hikes. I live close to Lincoln Park, which is a usual spot to take friends pets when I am sitting. If your dog enjoys a run, I usually take them to Seward and do the loop once around with a cool down in the wooded areas. If your dog loves swimming, I'm happy to take them for some water time as well.

I have just relocated to the PNW from Austin and am in a transitionary period of employment. My schedule is currently wide open and I plan to keep it that way for the immediate future.
