Pet care experience
I've been a dog-person since birth. I have very fond memories tied with dogs - be it with my own dog growing up or with others. I grew up with an Akita and remember training her as a young dog and caring for her in her twilight years. My connection with dogs was not lost on family friends as I would often be called in to check on their pets while they were out of town. My fondness toward dogs led me to Seattle, where there are more dogs than children! I have recently moved to Seattle so my living and work situation makes it difficult for me to be a traveling sitter or a host. However, I'd love to talk about potential day care situations since I can bring friendly dogs of all shapes and sizes into work with me.

This was Captains first time with Adam. I was a little worried at first that Captain might cause some problems when being handed over to the second sitter of the day, especially somebody new. Captain took to Adam like a fish to water! Thank you Adam for your flexibility and being available at such late notice!
Adam's the best, we couldn't be happier! Spike had such a good time that he didn't even seem to want to come home with me. He looked out for Spike's special bulldog needs and eccentricities and we look forward to working with Adam again in the future!
Adam and Apollo are big fans of each other, and it's great knowing the pup is taken care of when I'm not home. Lots of picture updates and good communication!
Adam is Lemon's favorite dance partner and always knows how to shake a leg, so to speak.

I aim to do most of my dog sitting from a dog friendly office. This means that your dog should be even-tempered, tolerant/friendly with dogs and people and not too loud. Your dog will have access to treats, potty breaks and a fenced off area at my desk to roam around in. Depending on their demeanor I can spread the gate out more and they can pal around with other dogs at work. I'm more than happy to discuss these details and more when we make contact!
A typical day
My top priority when it comes to dogs is ensuring that they are comfortable and feel safe. A comfortable dog is a happy, more relaxed dog. I will be able to provide multiple potty breaks throughout the day in a park located nearby. We can discuss any other care your dog requires.
