I have had pets my whole life. As a young boy I was responsible for taking care of our family pets, including dogs, cats, birds and reptiles. My parents did an excellent job of instilling how important it was to care for our pets which included proving scheduled food and water, potty breaks, and taking the dogs for walks or playtime at the park. We had a husky for 13 years and she had several litters of puppies which I helped take care of until they were adopted. I was also hired by several neighbors to take care of their pets while they were away for vacations. I currently have a big valley bulldog named Opie and he is the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet. He’s so well behaved and loves everyone that looks at him. Before Opie, we had an American bulldog named Luxor. He lived a long life, but his final months with us taught me a lot about caring for a senior dog. He required a special diet, daily medication and special care to keep him comfortable. It was a difficult time when we had to say goodbye, but he’ll forever be in our hearts. I have experience with many breeds, large and small, and I would love to spend time with your dogs as well!
